The Transfer Handle for Hospital Beds

Our most popular transfer handle (bed rail) design is available for hospital beds too.

Used by nursing homes and rehab hospitals across the US and around the world, the Transfer Handle®, hospital model, provides a first line of defense for INDEPENDENCE AND FALL PREVENTION.  The Transfer Handle improves the patient's ability to get into and out of bed while minimizing the risk of injury.  Our bed handle easily removes in case of emergency.  It needs no tools to install.  The Transfer handle is available in two models for spring based or pan based hospital beds.  Spring bed model includes a bed board that sits on top of the springs.  The pan bed model attaches directly to the metal bed frame.  Weight capacity 250 lbs.

Shipping & Delivery

Fulfillment
Most orders received prior to 2:00 PM, Eastern Time will be shipped on the same business day. Orders received after 2:00 PM, will be shipped the next business day.

Shipping
We ship UPS whenever possible. Charges are prepaid and added to invoice. For shipping charges to your destination call Customer Service at 541-508-0540.

Rush Orders
Normally, orders are shipped within 24 hours. For same-day rush shipment, call Customer Service for the amount of the charges. We recommend UPS 2Day or UPS Priority as the most economical rush shipments. Prices are subject to change.

Free Shipping
Free shipping offer only applies to limited products as indicated. All other products incur UPS ground charges. Free shipping only applies to items shipped within the continental US.

Multiple Products
If you purchase more than one product on your order, shipping rates may be less than indicated if we are able to bundle your items. If you need multiple items please order via Purchase Order or call your order in to 541-508-0540 and we'll process it manually to hopefully save you some money.

Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email with tracking information. If for some reason you do not have this information, you can track your order by going to your KMI registration and check shipments.

Returns

We strive to keep our customers satisfied by offering quality products, professional service and competitive pricing. Our return policy is consistent in maintaining the best value and highest service level for all of our customers.

Prior to returning any product, you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. NO returns will be accepted without an RMA number. To obtain an RMA number and return instructions, please call Kemper Medical Inc. Customer Service at 541-508-0540. Please have the following information on hand when calling: Customer Name, Item Number and the nature for the return.

Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of sales receipt date. If the merchandise you received is defective or not as you ordered we apologize for the error. We will have the product picked up and we will reship the correct item to you promptly. Please contact our customer service staff for a quick resolution.

Some products may be returned for credit or exchange. These returns will be subject up to 35% restocking fee based on the manufacturers guidelines. These items are not returnable: commodes, incontinence products, wound care products, raised toilet seats, tub seats and all RCAI products due to hygiene issues.

In order to receive proper credit: Product must be in new, resalable, unmarked original packaging with original packing material including manuals and warranty cards provided by the manufacturer.

If you refuse a package delivery or if your package is undeliverable due to customer error, you will be responsible for payment of the shipping cost and any fees charged to Kemper Medical or MTS by the carrier. This policy applies even if your order was originally sent to you via FREE shipping. For all product returns, you are responsible for arranging shipment of the product back to the appropriate warehouse. You may use UPS, FedEx, or any other ground parcel carrier of your choice. We strongly recommend that you have a tracking number for the items being returned.

On all prices and products, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors. Kemper Medical is not responsible for manufacturer price changes. If a price change has occurred the customer will be notified of a price change prior to processing of their order.
