General Sandbags for Patient Positioning - 3.5 Lb

All sandbags are filled with sand and are ready to use. Heat sealed inner sleeve prevents the leakage of sand. All seams are sewn and tear resistant. Outer cover is heavy gauge reinforced vinyl.

Thank you for choosing Kemper Medical for your radiology accessory needs. To ensure the longevity of your new sandbags and sandsocks, we recommend the following guidelines for cleaning and care.   

Cleaning & Care:   

We all know that in a medical environment, it is easy for vinyl’s to become dirty and soiled from blood, bodily fluids, betadine, barium, and other fluids.   


Shielding International recommends cleaning with cold water and a mild detergent immediately after contact with fluids. Household 409 Spray can be used to clean the surface fabric or vinyl and remove dust and dirt from your table pad. 

To disinfect your sandbags and sandsocks, Techno-Aide recommends the use of disinfectant wipes such as PDI Sani-Cloth AF3 Alcohol Free Germicidal Wipes Cat# GWP-WAF. Allow a drying time of at least 3 minutes Store your sandbags and sandsocks on a sandbag/sandsock rack when not in use.  


  • Do not use Bleach or any harsh chemicals on your sandbags and sandsocks.
  • Do not autoclave or launder.
  • Do not soak/submerse table pad in water.  

Failure to adhere to the above recommendations will shorten the life of your sandbags and sandsocks and will possibly void your warranty. Shielding International provides a one year warranty on workmanship and materials.

Return Policy

Return Policy


We want you to be completely satisfied with all of your radiology equipment and medical supply purchases.

If you are unsatisfied with your Shielding International product, you have 30 days in which to request a return. No returns 45 days past the invoice date will be allowed.

Products cannot be returned to Techno-Aide, for credit or refund, unless accompanied by a Return Authorization Number issued by the Shielding International Customer Service Department. Contact Kemper Medical at 541-508-0540 or for an RA# 

All authorized returns are subject to a minimum 20% refurbishing and reconsignment fee. All protective apparel including table drapes, shields, radiation protective accessories (with media) are subject to a minimum 50% breakdown and restocking fee.

All returns must be shipped in the original packaging. For proper credit to be considered, every effort should be made to assure a damage-free return.

Shielding International and Kemper Medical will authorize returns for complete credit in the case of a Shielding error or defective merchandise.

Credit will be issued only after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by Techno-Aide

No returns will be allowed for customized orders unless they are defective.


 A standard, non-customized order may be cancelled at no cost to you as long as your order has not yet shipped.

Damages must be reported within seven (7) days after delivery.  Delayed reporting can delay or void the carrier's responsibility to pay your claim and negate any credit for freight damage from Techno-Aide
