The TAME-EM immobilizer was developed by an RT for techs. It’s simplicity makes it very easy to use and costs considerably less than the standard Pigg-O-Stat. The Tame-Em will immobilize the child for for most of your AP imaging needs.
The complete unit consists of a fiberglass base and two size restraining boards. One for infants and another for children up to approximately 5 years old.
This immobilizer is small enough and inexpensive enough to have one ready to go in each of your imaging rooms.
